About
This method of waxing is becoming increasingly popular due to its ease of use and the hygienic aspect of the system. the wax is similar to that of jar or tin wax consisting of rosins and oils and also works at the lower operating temperature of approximately 43°C.
Application
The Wax is applied using a pre-heated cartridge (or sometime called a Cassette) which has a roller head attached (available in disposable or re-usable cartridges as required) and is applied by rolling the wax on to the area to be treated: it is then covered over using either a fabric or paper strip which is gently pushed onto the wax. Once the wax has cooled and hardened the strip is removed by pulling it away from the skin. The system is ideal for home use, mobile therapists as well as the larger salons and spas. It has a quick heat up time and very cost effective.

About
This is a method that incorporates the use of either hot wax pellets; used for many years to remove strong stubborn hair growth and consists of beeswax and resins and hot film waxes, available in tablet blocks or tins, which have become available more recently and consists of rosin and plasticders. The wax is solid when cold and has a higher melting point that that of warm wax with a working temperature of approximately 68°C.
Application
The wax is firstly heated and applied in a thick layer using a spatula, it is left on the area until it hardens and is then removed without the use of any strip. This type of waxing used mainly for small areas such as the bikini line, eyebrows, lips, underarms and any area where stuborn hair growth is found; it is very effective on short hairs.

About
This method incorporates the use of warm wax or crème waxes which consist of rosins and oils and is available in jars or tins. It has a lower operating temperature to that of hot wax of approximately 43°C.
Application
The wax is heated in a wax heater and applied as a thin layer using a spatula and is then covered over using a fabric or paper waxing strip which is gently pushed down onto the applied wax. Once the wax has cooled and hardened (this happens quite quickly) the waxing strip is then removed by pulling it away from the skin. To be more effective, it is advisable that the hair growth is at least ¼”-(5mm) long; this is probably the most popular from of waxing as it is quick and very cost effective.
